Top 10 Die-cast
Not only was this die-cast the top-selling car in 2014. It also entered the record books as the best-selling die-cast in Lionel Racing history.
The primary paint scheme of Dale Earnhardt Jr., the National Guard Chevrolet returned to the bestsellers list in 2014.
Earnhardt was faster than a speeding bullet in the No. 88 National Guard/Superman Chevrolet. A replica of the car Earnhardt drove this summer at Charlotte Motor Speedway and Michigan International Speedway; this die-cast was also the most popular special paint scheme of the year.
The No. 3 is one of the most iconic and successful numbers in NASCAR history. Rookie Austin Dillon continued its legacy when he brought the No. 3 Chevrolet back to full-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition. The result? Old and new fans alike clamored for the die-cast commemorating this historic NASCAR moment.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. scored his first-ever victory at Pocono Raceway in the No. 88 National Guard Chevrolet, and the Race Win die-cast commemorating this achievement clinched spot number five on our top 10 list.
How do you follow up your first win at Pocono? With a second win and a track sweep! Dale Earnhardt Jr. grabbed a broom and his second victory at the Tricky Triangle in August, putting this Raced Win die-cast in the sixth spot on our list.
Jeff Gordon notched four wins in 2014, and fans couldn't get enough of his No. 24 AARP/Drive to End Hunger Chevrolet SS die-cast. Always a fan favorite, Gordon's standard paint scheme was again a hit this season.
It was a year of successful change for Kevin Harvick. His move to Stewart-Haas Racing and the No. 4 Chevrolet, coupled with his first NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championship title, put Harvick on the best-sellers list for the first time since 2012.
The die-cast cars of Tony Stewart are consistently top sellers, and the No. 14 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet SS returned to the top 10 with a ninth-place rank.
